There are countless ways to get involved:


Volunteer or Join a Subcommittee

Nearly 100 Seton Hall community members are currently involved in planning the Sesquicentennial Celebration. The Committee is broken down into six subcommittees. Each subcommittee has a specific area of responsibility and plans and implements various activities for the celebration. Each subcommittee has a wide range of representatives from across the University community. For information regarding a specific subcommittee contact the chair listed below.

Host a Sesquicentennial Party

Not in the South Orange area and still want to celebrate the Sesquicentennial? Chances are there are plenty of SHU alumni in your area who would love to celebrate together. If you would like to host a Sesquicentennial party in your home, here's how to get started.

The Seton Hall Alumni Department will:

  • Prepare and mail invitations to alumni in your area
  • Provide Sesquicentennial promotional items for you and your guests
  • Provide a copy of the Seton Hall DVD to show at the party
  • Post digital pictures of your party on the Sesquicentennial photo gallery

Donate Materials to the Archives

Everforward - Archives - Sports

The Msgr. William Noé Field Archives & Special Collections Center actively seeks materials for the ever-expanding collection. The Archives Center relies on the kindness of donors and alumni to augment our holdings catalog which keeps the historical legacy of Seton Hall University, the Archdiocese of Newark, and Catholicism in New Jersey alive for our research community, information files and for the sake of long-term preservation. The Archives Center collects all types of materials including:

  • Manuscripts
  • Photographs
  • Publications
  • Office files
  • Diaries
  • Ledger books
  • Newspapers
  • Class notebooks
  • Buttons
  • Pennants
  • Booklets
  • Flyers
  • anything and everything related to Seton Hall University, the Archdiocese of Newark, and Catholicism in New Jersey

In addition to our main mission, manuscript collections from individuals, rare books and any texts featuring history, religion, philosophy and related areas are also of interest.
